Santa is coming to West Portal Avenue December 16th from 12 to 2:30 at 162-170 West Portal. This event is sponsored by the West Portal Merchants Association and the SF Firefighters Toy Program.
Free pictures will be taken with Santa and barrels will be distributed along the Avenue for toy donations.
To create a sense of community and to help the West Portal Merchant's Association improve the Avenue, the merchants are selling the large paper stars that you have seen in many store windows.
The stars can be purchased at Papenhausen Hardware or at Just Because stationary store for $30.00. This includes the star and a lengthy electrical cord with light socket to enable you to light your star from within. All profit from this sale will go into the Merchants Association fund. |
